Meet Kris

My path into photography began with the moment my first child was born.  From that moment, like many new parents, I started to see things in a different light.  It wasn't too long after that I wanted to capture every precious moment not only for my own family, but for others as well.

I started my career semi-professionally in sports, shooting hundreds of hockey and lacrosse tournaments across the GTA and providing thousands of parents with professional in-action images of their children on the ice.  I also spent a season photographing the Mississauga Power (now Raptors 905).  This experience was extremely fast paced, and I spent countless hours becoming one with the camera.

After some time, I started getting asked to photograph friends weddings.  Although I loved shooting sports I quickly started to really enjoy documenting wedding days. The food is MUCH better at weddings than it is at hockey arenas!  Photographing weddings also introduced me to a whole new world of creative options.  Lighting, posing and capturing natural moments throughout the day quickly shifted my passion to photographing weddings.  I have been shooting weddings for 4 years and counting!

Being able to make photos that bring smiles or tears to peoples faces is what fuels my passion.  Being able to capture a single moment and freeze it in time is something I feel very honoured to be able to produce. This is why I also offer a wide range of print products and albums.  Being able to produce a beautiful tangible product that you can re-live time and time again without sitting in front of a computer is something I want every couple to experience

On the technical side: I shoot with professional Nikon equipment and have put in many hours of in person and online training with some of the top wedding photographer professionals in the world.
I explore many different forms of light to create different moods of photos that pop and command attention!  I use both studio grade strobe lights as well as the smaller "on camera" flashes.

In total, I have 3 professional camera bodies, 6 lenses, 2 strobe lights, 2 professional flashes, 2 LED lights, and numerous light shaping accessories to achieve various styles (umbrellas, softboxes etc).
